High-Falutin’ Talk

April 8, 2007

On this Easter Sunday, Mrs. Crumpet and Orange Bear recommend the classic 1966 movie A Man for All Seasons, starring Paul Scofield as Henry VIII’s adviser Thomas More. In this Oscar-winning film adaptation of Robert Bolt’s play, Sir Thomas risks his life and personal honor to stand by his deeply held convictions. Don’t miss a creepy Orson Welles and the outré regalia worn by Henry VIII (Robert Shaw).

“I’m sure Mr. Crumpet, if he were here, would’ve liked our choice,” says Mrs. Crumpet.

“Right,” agrees Orange Bear, “lots of high-falutin’ talk in it.”
